You pay, I stop nonsense

Can you believe this?! Darrell Hair, when one thought he could sink no lower in his own arrogance and domineering attitude, apparently seems to have taken up the challenge in earnest by demanding this.

Well I too could ask for $500,000 USD to NOT make moronic decisions and statements on and off the field. I think we all should write similar letters to the ICC no?

Inzi again!

It seems it only takes another inspired bit of action on Inzi Bhai's part to make me blog here. My admiration for Inzi as a batsman keeps growing every time he trundles to the crease. His antics on and off the pitch make me admire him even more!

Whether the Pakistanis actually did tamper with the ball is the first question. Without conclusive video footage, it is extremely unlikely that an umpire can tell whether a ball has been altered deliberately or not. Unless there are obvious nail marks on the ball which I think the Pakis are too smart to do anyway.

That's besides the point. As far as the forfeiture goes, I think Hair was spot on. No team or individual is bigger than the game. Even Inzi despite is ample dimensions. You cannot sit like a spoilt child sulking in the dressing room when play is about to start. You can't get away with nonsense like that in a club game, forget the test arena. England didn't deserve to win this way but Pakistan needed to be told stunts like these wouldn't wash and they could use the ''veiled racism'' card all they want but sorry guys, not this time.

Pakistan should be docked a lot of money and Inzi Bhai (as much as I love watching him bat) needs to be made to cool his heels for a few games. (the current estimate is 8). The umpire's always right on the field. You're taught that in your first basic cricket camp. That is why Cricket is the game it is, unlike football or hockey or all those other American sports where the umpire/referee is a verbal punching bag. Lets keep it a gentleman's game.
